Ahmed Elbeltagi

Biography :

My name is Ahmed Elbeltagi. I graduated from Mansoura University in Egypt 10 years ago. I moved to the UK straight after the graduation where I had over 6 years’ experience as a surgical doctor working with several hospitals now as a surgical registrar. I spent the last 4 years working through my master’s degree in surgical research mainly about Faecal immunochemical test and its new role in colorectal cancer detection in primary care and with two-week wait system. I am interested in teaching young doctors and other health care providers through working in hospitals. I had many managerial roles previously in my previous job where I was in charge of junior doctors’ timetable, induction to junior doctors about the nature of the job, and also I have been a mess committee till last year. Outside medicine, I am very active, I do body building, boxing, and running.
